Juro's eyes snapped open. It was dark outside, almost pitch black, but the bright moon led the path. His tongue was out, trying to catch the air. He heard a rustle and closed his eyes, closed his mouth. A body lay next to his, warm and comforting. When they spoke, his heart lifted a thousand stories. Sada?

"Oh my god... Juro..."

It was unmistakably Sada. He wanted to wake, but the fear of his father arriving or someone catching them was all too great. He squeezed his eyes, the pain, joy, sadness all mixing together into one feeling. He never knew he could love one wolf so much. He never dreamt of missing one so much over one day, feeling like he had no soul when she was gone. He never thought his soul would die as he watched her with another male, one that her parents ultimately permitted to be her husband. Were they blind?.

"This shouldn't have happened, this, this shouldn't have happened to you... It should have... You don't deserve this... this pain. If anyone deserves it... It's me..."

But it wasn't her! No, it wasn't her. He was the one who deserved it, not her, the pain had already found its home. He was the one who burrowed into her life, created a love that could never be reached. He was the one who didn't allow her to love Kazu. He was the one who deserved, death, pain, anything... Just to see her happy, just to see her safe and sound. He would go through anything just to see his angel like that. Anything at all.

"I don't know if you can h-ear me... But, Juro... You, you need to know something... something I've kept from you for so many years... J-juro... I-I...lov-"

The Samurai was still processing this, his mind too bewildered to think straight, as he heard another voice.

"Sada, you need to slip out now. Juro's father is heading over here, come by my side- quickly. And don't say a word."

Was that... Yama? Yama, his best childhood friend, who he hadn't seen for years? Juro choked down tears. Was Yama risking her own life... For him and Sada? As she nestled into him one more time, he treasured the moment. It tore him to pieces as she stood up, padding outside. Juro waited. The Daimyo... He wasn't coming. Slowly, Juro looked up and saw that his father had passed by his tent. It seemed like he was in some sort of hurry.

Juro closed his eyes again, letting the salty stream run down his muzzle, splashing onto the floor. She loved him. Sada loved him. It was such a pity for her to marry Kazu... He didn't deserve such a beauty... He silently cried, having almost no working muscles to pull himself up. Juro's brows tilted downward at an extreme angle, his teeth grinding in anger. Then his features indicating sadness once more, his tears streaming like a massacre had occurred inside his oculars. Why was it so twisted? Why couldn't he be the one to cherish her, to stay with her for the rest of his life?

"Sada... I-I love you too... And I want you to know t-that you're my angel. You saved me. I thought of you when I was dying, and as I saw your beautiful face I lived... S-Sada, you're my everything, and without you I cannot live. When I see you up there with... With him... I would rather prefer a thousand, a million beatings and Seppeku than see you grow up.... Up without me... Oh Sada, I would go through all the pain in the world for you!"

The rose symbolizes that Juro is a romantic, and that if someone makes a move on his lover, his dark side will be brought forth, like the sharp thorns on the stem of a rose.

Although this song is based off of God, they are each other's saviours/gods, and it represents how Sada and Juro will support each other and love each other through the mess, how they will help each other up when they fall. Their love is like no other, and that fire will forever burn.

Describes how much Juro loves his Princess -- again, based off of God, but look at it differently, as before mentioned, Sada is Juro's angel from heaven. Sada is Juro's everything, without her he would surely die, but if she is happy with another male then that's all he needs.

"The Pit" being all the obstacles in Juro's way to get to Sada, this song describes how much Juro wants to fill the pit up to reach her, to take her paw and assure her everything's alright, and to love her like no other.
