Biography
In the early fall, Kal and her mate founded the Talen pack and produced their pup, Blue Eyes. After a struggle for dominance in the spring, she was demoted to Omega. She and the Beta, Ash, produced Sunrise in the summer. Kal found 10 mushrooms. In the winter, she and the Alpha produced Silver Birch and Palm. The following spring, she and her mate became Beta. During the spring after that, the Betas produced Canyon. In the summer of Kal's eighth year, the pack moved from the forest to the swamp. In the winter, she was the first wolf of Talen pack to catch the turtle. In the spring of Kal's twelth year, the pack moved from the swamp to the jungle, and she and an outsider male named Paint the Sea produced Fox. On the pack's first expedition into the jungle, Kal was the first Talen wolf to kill a crow. In the summer of Kal's sixteenth year, the pack moved from the jungle to the desert.

Kal is a wolf to whom family is important. She wants to take care of her pack, and is something of a mother figure to the other wolves. Her mate is Silver, and her closest bond aside from him is to her son, Silver Birch, and her great-grandson, Snowstorm, who she seems to view as an adoptive pup.
