her brown fur soaked by the storm as she hears the rivers roaring storm as she tries to cross the ragging stream but the log gives way.
as the waters lap over her head, her drenched fur dragging her down closer to a watery grave, as she tries to keep her head above a memory flashes before her weary eyes.

as a wave of dread washes over the young wolf she sees more images flash before her eyes.

but no one comes she fell alone to the darkness only one month after her pups came.
