among the fall leaves a silver body lays unmoving, nearby a young wolf works to dig in the frozen ground. her eyes fill with tears as she lowers the small body into the hole.

as she howls mournfully before heading off unaware of the small silver-furred wolf fallowing her, a pup looks on not knowing what happened.

a wolf with fur the color of the moon never got to see what life would give, It was an illness, that claimed the young pup took her from this land.

in life, she would have been loved named after the shining moon above now but a soul of what she once was
she tries to call to her mother yet the grief-stricken wolf walks on alone.

the alpha found her only girl unmoving beside her littermates her small body, cold as the winter's nights, a young pup that now is forced to watch, her littermates grow never knowing why they cant see her, why they walk through her.
