The words of my packmates echo in my mind, as I flee, I dont know how long I ran, before I collapsed my eyes look to the sky, the air still holds the winter's chill.
as I lay drifting off I remember three years ago, my sister who was shunned, My eyes open to the sun's light still my limbs feel weak.
slowly I get up walking my paws sore when the ground nearly drops off to a river, I jump back thats when I see a wolf on a lower edge.
her fur like flames as she climbs up the cliff, "you'r not from this place are you" She asks I look to her seeing the forest through her fur.
" Follow the path over the bridge there a kind soul will find you"she says as she vanishes.

"come you seem lost and in need of a home "She says

"Brave Snow sounds like it will fit you" the wolf says,
"Im Mending light " the wolf says

as we enter a clearing I see a wolf with two pups laying near a den " my sister was shunned three years ago "I say "She was blind" I add.
"only wolf like that would be Sleeping storm " Mending light says as she calls a wolf over,
I look to the blind wolf and nuzzle her "I thought I lost you "I say.
" my pups where born here Fancy Lightning and Thunder's echo "she says I smile to them,
"both are very pretty " I say as Im lead to a den by my sister .
