Biography
One of the two sons of Redwood and Nightshade's first litter. Ash is the older and stronger one, and has the more assertive personality. He has been determined his whole life to be a useful hunter and fighter for the pack, and has done what he can to keep it strong.
As he grew older he pushed more and more of his father's boundaries, finally overthrowing him and becoming the next leader of the pack. Despite her distance from the rest of the pack he chose Orchid as his mate, having admired her from afar for several seasons.
He lost one of his eyes in a fight with a mountain lion. This experience has made him very cautious, but has not slowed him down significantly.

Stubborn. It's impossible to get him to back down quietly once he's decided he wants to do something, which causes his father a great deal of annoyance.
He is very close to his brother Rowan, and the two are usually together.
Preferences
Shady places where he blends in. He also loves swimming. His favorite food is sheep.
