I was named for my fur a bird black as the night with eyes that glow in the dark night, my family all gone by the hunters' glowing lights I was alone hidden in the night.
only a pup when I was so alone broken no home,

I ran from the place afraid and scared my coppery eyes showing fear and sorrow, I stop and sit down crying, sacred, and afraid.

as I think of the night why was I the only one left? was it my fur that saved me from them as I was hidden from sight.

I look at the path that I came from, as I look to the pathway as I look around I see a wolf in the corner of my eyes his fur pale and glowing.

" Hello little one why you cry you are alone? " the wolf asks
' my home is gone " I say whimpering.

" come with me young one I'll lead you to a place " he says,
the wolf leads me to a place his eyes shine in sorrow as he looks longingly to the place.
" this is as far as I can go " the wolf says his white fur shining in the moon.

I head to the place where a wolf meets me " h-hello " I say " where's your home little one " gone a wolf lead me here " I say.
