A dainty looking, pale white and cream faded beauty padded quickly through the forest of dark pines, her eyes flashed with a warry urgency. her thin body pushed her forwards as her ears flicked at all angles, to each scuttle of a squirrel up a tree and each falling leaf, every sounds, even the wind against the leaves and her own paw steps, setting her on edge. her thin paws seeming to carry her on clouds as she moved quickly yet silently. her mind whirled, had they noticed her gone yet? were they coming for her? did they know where she was? would they find her? where was she? what is this place? she whined quietly as her mind raced for answers but she couldn't remember where she had came or where she was going. the forest dark and foggy, hard to see the ground or even the trees themselves. waves and swirls of mist floated by her as she swiftly disrupted the thick misty fog that had settled thickly upon the ground and was up about two feet over her head, it almost suffocating her in worry of what she couldn't see and she couldn't smell home anymore, the ground didn't feel the same, the sounds weren't the same, she couldn't even see the sky to tell where she was.
The female swerved her head around to a sound and she leapt in fright, hearing the sound of an angry voice somewhere in the distance, the fogs water droplets carrying sound farther than normal, causing it to echo and make it difficult to hear where it came from. her head swerved as the sound echoed and she stayed there for several moments, listening to the echoes fade to silence, her heart beat in her ears as her fur spiked and muscles bunched, then yelped suddenly at a crack of a twig near her, leaping backwards as she didn't take time to look, or really take the thought to look where she was going and dug her claws into the ground, rocketing herself forwards in fright, but then with a loud sudden crash that echoed like a crackle of thunder, followed by a yelp of utter fright and pain, she rammed her head strait into a tree. she collapsed at the base of the tree, her body limp as she whined, trying to keep her eyes open but her whole body ached, her paws cold in the mist while her head burned, a split across her forehead where she bled from the impact. she whined softly as her vision was blurring in and out and she panted in pain.
