The Ancients

This pack is an anchient pack in their ways, having moon rituals and set beliefs. The meanings of thier names are in there bio descriptions. The packs territory consists of a forest with a large cliff errupting diaganally from the earth. At the top of this ridged cliff is the heart of the territory, the camp. Just infront of that cliffs ledge is a beautiful meadow with grasses large enough to hide a bear, and not far from that, as the grasses shorten out, theres a gentle crystal clear river with plentiful fish surrounded by a pebble river bank.
The Chosen Ones: These are the leaders of the pack, said to have been chosen by the ancestors. They are chosen in pup-hood, whether they become a pair or not is their choice unless the ancestors show signs of dissaproval.
The One Who Sees: This is the one who can hear the ancestors wishes. Usually they are only chosen shortly after one dies, because there is one for every generation. It is up to the pack to look for signs of a pup being chosen by the ancestors, These signs include: sleep walking, hearing voices, having visions, and having random spells of unconsciousness, and more morbidly; having spoken in a different voice to someone with no recollection of what was said (possesion). This wolf gives their body to the ancestors and lives as a vessel for them to communicate through. Though, towards about 10 years of age, they slowly take over the wolfs body and the wolves soul joins the plains with the ancestors. Since the ancestors spirits cannot feed without the presence of the original spirit to that body, the wolf will slowly decay and become zombie like until the body can no longer hold a soul, then a pup in the next generation will be chosen.
Valkyrie: These are all of the female wolves in the pack, with the Lead Valkyrie being chosen by the chosen ones(leaders). Their job is to protect, patrol, and hunt. Lead Valkyrie usually splits the valkyrie's into two groups, one for patrolling and one for hunting for the day. if pups are present one will be chosen to stay back and rest to help guard the camp.
Warrior: These are the male wolves of the pack. Lead Warrior is chosen by the leaders. The Warriors jobs are to also protect, patrol, and hunt. Lead Warrior chooses how to split the warriors into groups for hunting and patrolling and who needs to rest or stay back to watch camp or any pups present. (Sometimes for big hunts Valkyrie and Warriors collaborate)
The Future: This refers to the pups of the pack. They are often watched over by the one who sees and the chosen ones, who also teache them basic concepts appropriate for pup age up until they reach age enough to apprentice under the lead warrior and valkyrie.
Apprentices: These are the adolescents in training. They are usually under command of the lead valkyrie and warrior and often train under them specifically.
A pack within the valley of lush grasses, wildflowers, and the scale of a mighty cliff thrive upon the land. The rivers edge could be heard rushing at the end of the territory line, the trees surrounding the land of many kinds, looming pines, twisted oaks, and swaying willows. This pack, though, not a normal pack. Unique in their ways, for they practice the most antient ways of the wolven packs. Their land and bloodlines dating back to the beginning of time, kept rich and ancient for centuries. For this is the ancient pack. A pack of wisdom, loyalty, forgiveness, and unity. But many have crossed their kindness and taken their graciousness for weakness and have learned otherwise with the ultimate price.
