Mother said that he could shake the world, and that was exactly what he had in mind. She spoke like she hated father and his intentions, but Enansal could feel the love embedded into her tone, and the sadness in her eyes.
Enansal knew that her parent's love was pure, but it was never supposed to be. She was the physical, unfortunate reminder of their unjust love. Mother always said that she looked so much like him, and while she spoke that to comfort her daughter, it only created a pit of guilt in her chest. Mother used to stare at her, lost in thought, with such sadness in her eyes. She'd blink several times afterwards and would offer a frail smile, usually forcing out a compliment to her daughter to explain the heartbroken trance. Enansal understood- she looked like the one her mother loved, the one who left her to destroy the world as they knew it.

"You do not understand what you're asking of me," Enansal said with disgust on her face. Her maw hung open; utterly appalled.
