A large iron pelted brute sat upon a great stone upon a field within his packs territory, his deep blue eyes gleaming in the sunlight, his pelt burning against his skin as it warmed in the suns heated rays. His ears flicked at the sounds of the cicadas within the pines in the forests that surrounded the dead grassy field, his tail curled around his paws as he watched and listened at his post, watching the forest line, where the border was of which his packs territory began.
The rusty looking male stretched, his bleached white marking across his shoulder that represented his status, glimmered in the sun, brighter than the rest of his pelt. he stretched his back out with his muscles rippling through his pelt. the well built warrior male then flicked his ears as he looked around, his eyes scanning the field as he had heard a rustle somewhere in the sea of dead long grasses that were high enough to hide a cougar.
