Biography
A mostly stillborn litter was a painful thing. Kamaria wept as her first pup was born breathless as well as the second. She buried her face in her mate's fur as she pushed out the third, knowing in her soul that it would be lifeless as well. She knew it had nothing to do with her. It was just something the royals have had to deal with lately. That didn't mean it hurt any less.

"Marie..." Kenneth's voice breathed, drawing Kamaria from her weeping and to the tiny body that Kenneth pressed against her side. "Look."

Sure enough, a pup was there, squirming and squeaking, searching for milk. Kamaria gasped and quickly lapped away the mess, leading them so that they could have their first meal. She wept again, only with joyful tears as her pup, her son, fed.

"Oh, he's beautiful. So beautiful," Kamaria nuzzled him, startling when his sightless eyes blinked at her again. "And an heir! Oh, thank the moon!"

"Welcome my son. We've been waiting," Kenneth leaned down and nuzzled him as well.

"Adonis," Kamaria murmured. "That's his name."

"Adonis it is."
