Chasing after the bird, I quickened my pace, I was so close I could practically sink my teeth in and-
"EEP!"
I suddenly found myself of the ground, and falling forward, the next thing I knew, I was sitting in a small stream. "Hmph" I huff, a single blue feather falling off my head and into the water. "Next time bird"
I hop out of the river and shake my pelt dry. Focusing on the sky around me, I don't hear the sound of foot steps until I hear a strangers voice and turn around.
"Quite the little fall you took" laughed an unfamiliar male voice. Turning around I locked eyes with a handsome stranger I had never seen before. "Y-Yeah" I replied, pausing for a moment. "Why are you on my packs territory?" My tone rose slightly as I watched him. My posture becoming more defensive.
"Just passing through" he replied. He sounded truthful. "Where are you headed?" I inquire.
"Don't know" he shrugged. "I'm looking for a pack"
"What's your name?" I ask. "Scar" he replies, dipping his his head. "Yours?" He asks.
"Lori" He smiles. "That's a pretty name, it suits you."
"Thank you." I smile.
We get into a conversation, and the next thing I know, he's leaving. I don't know why I didn't just let him leave, we had just met, but something inside of me, seemed to be calling me to do something different. To ask him to..
"Stay.." Scar turned around. "You can stay.. and join my pack" He looked surprised but smiled.
"You sure your pack won't mind?" I nod.
"In that case Lori, I'd love to.." His blue eyes gleamed.
When we arrived back at the pack it was nearly sunset. "I'll have to discus to discuss your rank with the alpha and my older sister, but I'll see you in a bit" he nodded and I headed off towards the den.
Rose was next to a fresh rabbit kill smiling.
"Welcome back Lori" she stated.
"Nice to see you again Sis!" I smile. She turns to me with an interested expression on her face. "Well you seem happy..." she studies me for a moment. I nod. "And so do you" I reply. She grins.
"Shadowed Face left this for me" She hinted to the carcass. Turning a little red when she said his name. She returned her gaze to me, "ah.. now I know why your so happy" I cock my head curiously. "Why?"
She gives a mischievous grin. "You met a boy.." I turn red and look away. "I.. well yes, but.." She smiles.
"This will be quite interesting to oversee"
I roll my eyes. "Do you always need to be in my business, Rose?" She nods.
"Whatever" I laugh, and snuggle up next to her. "Night sis" she whispers. "Night" I reply
