Cold, withdrawn, the silent guardian angel of his pack. Not a benevolent one, perhaps, yet still a beloved protector, loved and feared. The one and only Loki, bender of hearts and will, the perfect match to his mate Tovarishch. He is the only one she dares not cross, for he is the only one immune to her sweet, insidious whispers. Loki is power-hungry and greedy, selfish and cruel, but even as he finds himself leader of a pack, with everything he could want, he is left wanting. Searching for the respect and love--true, open, soft love--that he will never find, for he pushed it away long ago, trading familial warmth for cold, bitter self-pity. And so he exists, frustrated, in an endless hunt. The god of mischief he may be, but his mischief brings no joy or light to the world.
