Biography Leah had been very close to her pack as a pup. Her father was the alpha, her mother a beta. Their pack was strong, and they were always able to catch a meal during a hunt. She enjoyed playing with her siblings and other pups. Several weeks after she became a juvenile, her pack was attacked. She fought as best she could, along with the rest of her pack, but the other pack was fierce. They tore her down, and her pack had to retreat to safety, leaving her behind. Leah managed to crawl to the cover of a tree, where she stayed, too weak to move. That night, she woke to see a wolf standing in front of her. She growled to warn the wolf off, and he trotted away, only to return shortly. She crueld her jowl back in a snarl, but the wolf just sat next to her and dropped a squirrel next to her mouth. “Eat it. You look pitiful,” he told her. She narrowed her eyes at him, but devoured the squirrel, not willing to pass up a free meal. The wolf, Ryker, continued to return to her with food. He licked her wounds clean, sticking close to her on cold nights.
