"Come on guys! I know you can do it better!" Swind yelled, Rhodo, Al, and Neryum were panting from exhaustion. They had been "training" for a few hours, with the intention of being stronger, although I am sure that for Swind this is just a game session. They chased each other and tried to beat him in friendly matches, but until now, the only one who could face him was Rhodo.
Meanwhile, I was simply observing them, lying on the grass and lost in my thoughts. I like swind, maybe too much, he came to this pack before me, and I remember that by then he was quite loved by everyone, and likewise, we became friends pretty fast. He has a very competitive personality, and maybe that's why he's always been encouraging me to be stronger, faster, to be better, and that's something I admire about him, he does not get carried away by the idea of "being better than everyone" , and his judgment has never been clouded by the power he has acquired over the years, he genuinely wants to help us progress. It does not take much thought to arrive at the conclusion that it will become the next alpha.
That was bad, bad for me, because I love him. At first I was not sure, I felt very comfortable at his side, but it was also nice to be with Al, Hibicus, and even with the alphas. But with Swind it was different, with him I can speak anything, or nothing at all; my dreams, my worries, what I think of certain things, I can tell him all that and more without fear of being judged. Soon I found myself wanting more contact and more intimacy, and again, that's bad, because he will be the next alpha. He needs the company of a female, who knows, maybe Neryum ends up fulfilling his dream after all.
