Leryn has fallen far since his first days as alpha. Now he wanders the territory, only returning to eat and see his mate Ravine. One day soon he hopes to convince her to leave this mess of a bloodthirsty pack and start over with him.

Leryn started as a cheerful and kind young wolf, who joined the pack with his brothers and fell in love with the alpha, Ravine. At first, it was amazing, hunting with his brothers and mate, waiting for the birth of their first pup. But before Asuga was born, his brothers were killed in a fight with a rival pack, and he wallowed in despair for much of Asugas younger months. He only saw his daughter once or twice, and because of that is a virtual stranger to her now, only allowed to stay because he isn't plotting to kill her. Now he keeps his head down wherever he goes, remembering his slain brothers and wishing to see them again.
