"What?" The male alpha answered, and Echostar realised that she had said her last thought aloud. "I--I" The strong female tried to answer, though nothing fell from her mouth.
The mismatched-eyed male stared at her, turning his head softly, "You can tell me anything. I love you." He reassured, his ears pointed forward.
This was going to make this even harder.
As he placed a sandy-coloured paw on hers, she whipped it away, " I'm not in love with you " She said quietly, pinning her ears to her head.
He couldn't hear her.
Then she had an idea, "I'm pregnant. I'm having puppies!" She feigned excitement, wagging her tail happily.
They weren't his.
She hoped they looked like her.
He'd never forgive her.
