What is a world without her Sun? Often the little mortals have wondered, often the little mortals have questioned. Darkness ever eating away at the Sun's clean rays. The Sun protects the earth from the monsters of the night. Yet who can truly appreciate the heavenly factors of rage? None, or so it seemed. For Night is the one persecuted here. Ever biting, ever fighting. Ever trying to take amends for the skull of hers which was sent flying.

Always portrayed the hero.

The Sun follows a different set of rules. He goes wherever he pleases, takes what he wants. Yet he burns the world, scorns the land and scours it with his blistering breaths. This is love, this is hate. For what saga has a story so destroying? He loves what he can see, but he loathes the burden of being the hero every day. Each night there is no rest, for fleet feet will overcome any, even the sun, in the underlands.

There is no rest for the weary.

No end to the fight.
Each day is a marathon, each night hell. The Sun, his steps never falter, his gaze never lingers. He must run each race with more endurance than the day before, lest the monsters finally claim his glorious body and destroy all the days to come. Ever vigilant he must become, yet death looks ever more pleasing to his enchanting eyes.

To each step in his own story he is the hero. To others the Sun rages ever more the monster. So vague are the good qualities. So much blood has been spilled, flowing in treckle like streams all to one place. To death. To death. What is liberty to this being?
