Biography
Born into a cruel pack that valued strength and wit, Yahvahdun grew up none to kind himself. However, he despised his family for the pointless, time-wasting methods they used to torture not just their enemies but also those who disobeyed within their pack. Why torture something when you were just going to end up killing it?
So, as a juvenile, he rebelled often and quietly, making life more difficult for his litter and his parents... minus his brother Yahv, who was weirdly good natured. Eventually Yahvahdun's rebellion annoyed the alphas, and they chose to blame it on Yahv. While Yahvahdun was out hunting, they crippled his brother's paw completely. When Yahvahdun returned, he silently helped his brother up and left the pack with him.
He ventured to Lightbringer territory carefully and sent his brother towards a pack he had heard took in weaker wolves. After watching from a distance to make sure his brother was not killed or turned away, Yahvahdun went to make his own way.
Because his pack was cruel to its own--not just other packs and prey--he despised their ways. He sought to make allies with packs that were honest and loyal, just even. But he found his own nature was similar to his pack; he couldn't bring himself to honor the Old Ways, not for long. Whatever worked, whatever was most efficient, that was what he stuck to. So he never joined the packs that were honorable, but he remained loyal to his allies within those packs.
Loyalty, honesty--those two things he held to without sway.
Eventually he found a wolf who matched his intelligence and wit, and she was as curious about him as he was about her. Yahvahdun did not understand how to love; he had seen it done in other packs, but never in his own. So he did his best, and though the Alphas have a somewhat crooked relationship, they are a solid and loyal pair. Yahvahdun and Noxy did their best to teach their daughter Callie to be better than them... not too good, but better.
Now, Yahvahdun awaits their second litter, and already has plans of how he's going to do better raising these ones than Callie. Callie too is expecting, but being an independent lass she has her own ideas of how to raise pups... especially as she doesn't have her mate with her in the pack.
