Not allowed to talk to anyone but his relatives, the handsome Piarthian fell for his own cousin after growing up together, and memories full of friendship. One day, when Rivas is secure on the throne and has an heir, Pirathian and Darmina's potential offspring will not pose a threat, and they may be together. Their first child was Prince Firespar who died a few months after his birth from a disease that made him weaker and weaker as time went on. Piarthian was seen comforting Darmina far more than necessary, and was so deep in mourning that it was obvious Piarthian wasn't just his cousin's child. Queen Irafel lost trust in Piarthian for keeping his love of Darmina secret, and felt that Piarthian was too invested in Darmina to thoroughly protect the court. Tine had just had another child, a daughter, Finella, so Irafel did not feel the need to keep Piarthian around. Queen Irafel banished him from the royal court. Darmina's heart was broken. She was pregnant with their second child when Piarthian bid her farewell, promising to visit her once a year for the rest of their lives in secret. Shortly after his departure, Darmina gave birth to their daughter, Phelia. Phelia was not weak in any way. She had her father's courageous personality and her mother's looks with only Piarthian's cream face and cream striped legs to show she was his daughter. Darmina was happy to have someone to remember him by. The Queen seemed to overlook that Phelia was Piarthian's offspring and allowed the innocent pup to remain in the pack.
