Biography Outcast. Rejected. Alone, lost, and hurting. From the very beginning, her own grandmother, Irafel, hated Thuras, the youngest daughter of her heir Chara. She never understood why the Queen hated her so, and even as a young, bewildered pup began to withdraw from everyone else due to it. The pain of rejection caused her to build up a wall against trusting anyone anymore, and the Solas Bron pack often looked down upon her as a 'recluse' because of it. She heard rumors that the Queen hated her because she carried a similar appearance to an enemy that Irafel had accidentally let escape long ago to disastrous consequences, but of course, she could never really know. Compared to her sisters, Edurin, who was the proud heir to the throne after Chara; and Tine, who was well-known for her charm and beauty, she seems to have been left with nothing. Nothing at all. She was pretty, but always found it hard to socialize, and carried none of the charm so characteristic to her familys lines.
Thuras has always envied what her sisters had and desired to be more like they, but she loves them dearly anyhow and trusts only them besides her mother, Chara. They love her in return, but none have been able to connect with her in the same way that her cousin has. Fianna, descendant of the lesser line of House Bron, understood what it was like to be forgotten by others. She, just like Thuras, experienced feelings of hurt and rejection all too often, and Thuras often confided in her. The two became extremely close, and nothing was able to drive a wedge between the two. When Thurass only daughter, Dalearie, disappeared because she hated the royal court so much that she couldnt stand to remain, it was Fianna who comforted her through the loss. Thuras loved Fianna all the more for it, and the two promised each other never to let a male, or anything, for that matter, get between them.
It was around this time that a handsome young male found himself among the royal courts of Solas Bron. A beautiful, copper-eyed and desert-colored coat supported by powerful muscles and a witty mind, Kenai was definitely a wolf to behold. He was the brother of a King that lived far west in the hotlands, and he claimed that hed heard tales of the most beautiful females that could be found in the Kingdom ruled by House Bron. Edurin had just recently given birth to her two daughters, Rivas and Maeveri, a few days before and Tine was heavily pregnant with her offspring. Irafel, Chara, Atalanta, and Valmara had already dealt with more than their due shares of love, and wanted little to do with this stranger. So naturally, this left Thuras and Fianna, the two outcasts left to fend for themselves. The duo, in keeping with their promise never to let a male get between them, decided to share Kenai. From their union, Thuras had two daughters, Darmina and Kistreal. Fianna also had a daughter, whom she named Gael, though it was clear from the beginning that she was a better mother than Thuras was.
Thuras didnt care for Kenai at all, it turned out, and had only mated with him in order to continue her lines. She almost regretted it when her two daughters were born, and was quite detached from them, never really giving either daughter the love or affection they needed. Rumors flew, and when her pups, starved of attention, came to others for the kindness and love that they so needed and never received, backs were turned to Thuras and tempers flared against her. Why had she mated if she was going to be such a terrible mother? Nobody needed or wanted her children, why couldnt she learn to take care of them herself? However, the recluse, taught by many years of hiding her feelings from others, didnt respond and ignored her offspring completely after that.
But then...then several years later, Kistreal had a daughter, Jossi. Unsurprisingly enough, Thurass daughter displayed a similar level of carelessness to her offspring as she had years ago. Unfortunately, while it was far too late to fix what she had done to Kistreal, for some reason Thuras connected so well with Jossi, almost better than she did with Fianna, that she decided to take her only granddaughter under her wing. As she cared for Jossi, not only did the two develop an incredible bond, but she realized the error she had made with her own daughters, and tried to redeem herself. She was able to grow a bit closer to Kistreal and Darmina, though they didnt respond as well as Thuras had hoped and never developed a close bond with her as Jossi had.

| Personality Very quiet and reserved, there isnt much known about Thuras other than to the knowledge of her immediate family and her cousin, Fianna. Often called the recluse of the royal court, nobodys ever had a bright future in mind for this silent fae. She is an observer rather than a doer, very socially awkward around others with none of the charm that her grandfather and mother were so well-known for. Many doubt her intelligence and even her loyalty, but Thuras, well practiced in hiding what she's feeling, has alluded answers to none of it. Only those close to her are able to understand the level of devotion and smarts contained within those ocean-blue eyes. Her intelligence simply has little way to communicate itself with Thurass horrible socializing skills, and even with Jossis help it's quite hard, and so she remains mostly unrecognized and unnoticed by everyone but her closest friends.
Preferences Closest Friends: Edurin, Rivas, Beleanor, Jossi, Yulene, Varena, Faolan
Special Skills Jossi, however, seemed to have a more positive impact on Thuras than even the Queen herself could have dreamed. While Thuras helped the little princes to grow and flourish under her care, Jossi aided in the redemption of Thurass reputation, while helping her to revive her social abilities and make them grow. Because of this, Thuras became more comfortable around others and learned with Jossis aid to speak without stuttering or getting herself too mixed up in what she was trying to say. The comeback was incredible, so amazing that few even recognized the princess after transformation occurred. But Thuras was fine with that. She had been redeemed, and that was all that mattered to her.
