Biography
Elegant Lilly, or Lilly for short, is the pack's den mother. She was once a battler, but due to an injury she received in one of her hind legs, she was forced to give up her position. Instead of retiring, she decided to become the den mother. Now she takes care of all the pups in pack by watching them so that their mothers can tend to their regular pack duties.
One day, as Lilly was wandering through the woods in search of prey for the pack, she heard a loud crack above her. Before she knew what was happening, a tree branch had fallen from overhead and landed on her, pinning her leg to the ground. A searing pain ran through her leg. For hours, she laid there, unable to move until the next patrol came by.
For weeks, she stayed in Cherokee Rose's den as her leg healed. The branch had shattered her bone, and Cherokee Rose had told her that even after she healed, there was no way she'd ever walk normally again. This highly upset Lilly; what was she going to do? She couldn't be a battler or a hunter if she couldn't walk.
For months after her leg had healed, Lilly had to do exercises to keep her leg strong so that she could walk. Her best friend, Moon Spirit, helped her. One night, Lilly just couldn't do it anymore. She couldn't handle all of the stress. "Moon, I don't know what to do. I'm useless!" she sobbed into her friend's shoulder. "There, there. You're not useless," Moon reassured her. Moon had a litter of pups, and the pups had accompanied them on their training session. "Yeah!" one of the little pups chipped in. "We'll always love playing with you, Lilly! You're a lot of fun, so don't let that little leg bring you down!"
This, surprisingly, made Lilly feel batter again. She took the pup's words to heart and began going to visit them every day. She played games with them, and all of the pups went back to their mothers and told them how much fun she was to be around. It wasn't long before the mothers began asking Lilly to watch the pups while they went out to hunt for the pack, and Lilly obliged. Lilly loved being around the pups, and the Alphas noticed how good she was with them.
One day, they decided to ask Lilly to become the official Den Mother, and she happily agreed. Now Lily spends her days in the Nursery Den looking after the pups, and she can finally be happy again, because she's finally found her purpose.
