Biography Juptier is a great wolf, liked by almost everyone he met and a gentleman at heart. He holds a great compassion for others and empathises with them in such a way that some describe him as a scholar. His praises could be sung by an entire choir, and the song would still be many minutes long. But that is not to say he isn't flawed. Or that he was always like this.
Jupiter's dreams are filled with screams and roars, even to this day. He tried his best - he'd always tried his best - but he couldn't do it. He couldn't save them.
In his old pack, Jupiter had been selfish, boastful and stubborn. Prideful beyond belief, no creature could've dented his ego or swayed his opinions. It's just how he was. He was undoubtably strong, the largest wolf in the pack and undeniably well-built. But, alas, he refused to believe he could ever fail. He refused to believe he wasn't the best at everything there was. Which is why it was such a shock when the fateful day came that he failed.
Many a-tradegy happened, one after the other, as if the heavens were punishing him. He would scream up at the sky and howl with frustration, not caring if anyone heard him. He would plead to his ancestors, to any spirit that would listen to him, to save him from this Hell. But nobody came.
First, there was a terrible sickness that spread throughout the camp. Some of the stronger wolves survived, but mothers, pups and elders all died, coughing blood and reeching. Next came the onslaught of predators; it was the Summer season, with bright shining sun, but this season also bought poisonous berries, bears and even lions. The images of shredded fur and blood spraying through the air would never leave his mind. The numbers in the pack were diminishing fast, and all he could do was whine and scream and cry and wail helplessly, hoping for some sort of miracle. Finally, the fire was what wiped out the remainder of his pack. Through the whole epidemic, he had been growing, maturing; some came to him for help, some came to him for a shoulder to cry on, and he was finally realising that he wasn't the only wolf in the world.
"I'm sorry," he'd whispered to the moon. "I'm so, so sorry. Please, just have mercy on my family." Jupiter had almost felt the moon sigh. It was too late.
He remembered choking on the smoke, yelling at the others to run, but flaming trees fell in their path and trapped them. He nearly suffocated that day. He still breathed in and caught the smell of smoke sometimes. It made him weep. He failed.
Jupiter remembered wondering the forest alone, coughing and spluttering. He thought he would die out here, alone, with the stars frowning down at him with angry stares. "I know! I promise you, I know! I'm sorry! I'M SORRY! I.. I just want to make it up to you.. To you all.." the brute cried, the spirits of his pack surrounding him. They nuzzled his chest. "It's okay. We know. We forgive you. Now go out there and be the best wolf you can be."
And so, he did.
Jupiter strived to be kind and understanding. He aimed to help others through their troubles and be their light in their darkest hours. His goal was to be the best Jupiter he could be. When he was accepted into his current pack, he was thrilled. He was their moral compass and their optimism. He was Jupiter. And he loved being Jupiter.
