I was my parents' second pup. They loved me very much, and raised me to be a no nonsense alpha. My older brother, Beowulf, was the next alpha in line after my parents. But, my brother died of old age before he could take his rightful place. So then, I was next in line. My father, Maximus was strong, and fierce. My mother was nurturing and easygoing. I learned how to keep the pack in check from my father, and how to be merciful from my mother. I also learned how to be a good mother from watching my mother raise my sister, Autumn crocus. When my parents died, I became alpha, taking good care the pack, just like I promised them.
Now, in my old age, I am teaching my own pup, Shikoba, how to lead the pack. I trust that she will become a good alpha. Just like me.
