| A run is good either way, if you live in a place that can have chickens, you live in a place that can have raccoons. Make sure you chicken wire the fuck out of EVERYTHING and then make sure you zip tie that chicken wire together. Also make sure you stake it into the ground with the crosstie type thingies. |

| Northern oh lmaoo good point 🤔 I had one hen, when she hatched her chicks, she would chase our shorkie across the yard if he got too close. she also bit the Pyrenees a couple times lol if you can set up a run with your coop it's possible you'll be able to train the dog to ignore them or be friendly, depending on the temperament of your crazy doggo, once your dog gets used to them I personally preferred to let my chickens roam the yard, but if your set up is good, with a run they don't necessarily have to be let out. plus if they're fenced in like that, the doggo should have much lower chances to get them |
