That's great! I'm the only one cooking since my grandfather isn't allowed near heat emitting items (stove, oven, toaster etc) and my mother's meals do not spark any amount of joy. (She boils chicken, and doesn't even add seasoning!)

holds will only be allowed for adoptables priced over 1 apple / 1000 mushrooms - 3 days maximum. this is only to facilitate having time to pay, rather than earning the mushrooms.
