I might start making it so that you pay half before and half after you get the Sugarwing. I'm tired of people thinking they can just ghost me.
I'm making this species available on here for 1 apple or 500 mushrooms (Don't know why it even NEEDS to be said but the mush is there as a more affordable price because the main point of this is to make people happy not get me 1000 extra mush.) each. Please be understanding of the price as they take a bit of time for me to draw.
Sugarwing Dragons are small dog sized dragons that are attracted to anything containing sugar. There are five types with various different color and pattern possibilities. All that is needed (aside from the currency) is for you to pick your favorite sugary treat, natural or not, and what gender you want the dragon to be. There is also the possibility of mutations within the species. One such mutation example is the Shirley Temple one that exists only within the Soft Drink variety. This color mutation only occurs in the females of the breed, much like calico cats in real life.
When you adopt a Sugarwing they come with a short discription of their personality and how they came to be yours, their birthday (which is the day they were drawn), and a list of their favorite foods.
This is an example of the Wild variety. Untamed and foraging for sugary foods in the wilderness. Their appearance is very different from that of their tame relatives.
This is an example of a Candy variety. They are a bit more cat like than other Sugarwings and are the slimest variety overall.
This is an example of a Frozen variety and of one of the many mutations that can occur. This variety is built for colder climates and as such is also a bit bigger than it's relatives. Their fur is thicker, they are bulkier, and they are one of the few to actually have horns. They are the only variety that can not fly.
This is an example of a Soft Drink variety. They have translucent skin on their belly and store their favorite drink for later so that they don't starve when times get difficult. They have a tendancy to get on a bit of a caffeine rush sometimes due to this, thus the peculiar pupils.
And last but not least we have an example of the Pastry variety. These are by far the gentlest and cuddliest of the Sugarwings. They have a very plush build but this doesn't stop them from being able to glide.
Surprise! Two new Sugarwing variations have recently been discovered! These are the cold beverage and hot beverage variations. Not much is known about them yet but it seems that the hot beverage ones are the cuddlier of the two.
The ones that are pictured are only examples and are not themselves up for grabs. They already belong to people. The soft drink example is one of my personal ones.
Please pm me when you have a description in mind of what you would like.
RULES
1. No begging. Do not beg me for a free Sugarwing, a copy of an already existing Sugarwing, or to be bumped up on the order list. These things are very rude to do, especially the last one. The people on the list ahead of you have been waiting longer than you to get their dragon so you can wait to.
2. No trades. I have other art that I will willingly do an art trade with but the Sugarwings are not up for art trades.
3. Be respectful and don't overuse text speak such as "LOL". It makes me suspicious. I think you're preparing to scam me when you do that.
4. Please pm your order to me. It's easier to keep track of and makes me feel less anxious.
5. DO NOT RESELL your Sugarwings. You can do trade ins with me if you like. If you are ever unhappy with or grow tired of your Sugarwing and would like another one you can trade your old one out for a new one and I can rehome the old one.
6. Over all. Please be respectful, nice, and communicate properly. Don't act entitled or anything like that either.
7. Please only order 1 or 2 Sugarwings at a time. This makes it much more fair for everyone else as there are only 12 adoption slots.
8. Not so much a rule but just a little suggestion. If you ever think it seems like I'm taking too long please pm me. Just please don't spam me okay?
9. I'm a human. Please treat me like one. I'm not a machine. I can't just make art every single hour of every day. I have other things to take care of. I struggle with depression so I don't always have energy to do the things I love (such as creating Sugarwings) and it also gives me something my therapist calls psuedo dementia. My depression gets worse when the weather starts to get colder so please please be patient with me. I'm sorry if an order ends up taking months to get done because of it.
Small update : Sorry for the delay in orders. I get seasonal blues and they are kicking my butt right now.
