Inferno Abyss Stepping around the paw prints, you cautiously follow the trail it creates. As you move farther along the trail, you notice the overlapping signs of other animals slowly disappear. After following the trail for what seems forever, you notice that the owner of these paw prints is clearly a large mammal. The trail abruptly stops, and you look around you at your surroundings. Your lantern bathes everything in a calming blue light. You are in a small clearing, surrounded by dense vegetation and low hanging branches from trees. It seems like a perfect hiding place for something large. You can: check for more pawprints check the vegetation and trees leave clearing free response |

Reprobate Mmmm yes violence LMAO You decide to intervene in the standoff with violence. Namely, throwing a rock at one of them. Looking down at your feet you pick up a stone that fits nicely in the palm of your hands, and whose surface is relatively smooth to the touch before shuffling a bit so you can get a better shot. Slowly, you rear your hand back before tossing the stone down at the quarreling lupines. Bullseye! You manage to hit one of them on the back of their head, clearly startling them as they flinch and look around wildly to see who or even what hit them. Thankfully, they do not catch sight of you. While it didn't draw blood, the lupine that didn't get hit gives a very loud snarl and steps forward, scaring the other now disgruntled challenger off as they quickly slink away back into the forest foliage. With the challenger gone, the lupine stretches before shaking itself off and investigating the nearby shrubbery, seeming also curious as to what exactly had happened. Starwolfs As you wake up in a pretty meadow, you stand up immediately, and look around. The fog swirls around you, and you feel a twinge of unease. The landscape bears a striking resemblance to the place where you fell asleep. Suddenly realizing that it is dark, and you should not be able to see, you spin around and catch sight of a single glowing blue lantern on the ground, along with a glittering vial, shimmering in the darkness. You pocket the vial, and hold up the lantern, searching for a pathway. You take a few steps forward, and the lantern chases away the fog, revealing a crossroad. Do you 1. Go straight forward, towards a bunch of shrubbery 2. Go to the right to a dark patch of trees 3. Go to the left, on a path covered with pine needles |
