TUTORIAL: do ur lines do your flat colours make layer above lineart on above layer just start drawing over lineart with the fur colours darken current colour shade on the colour layers for each colour do three layers of shade (getting darker each time) now do three layers of lighting (getting lighter every time) merge your colour, lines and shading layer do a clip mask on top of it with soft light and use dark red do one shadow across about half the drawing away from the light turn that opacity down create another soft light clipped layer detailed shading opacity down now do ANOTHER clipped layer but this time overlay get a very light yellow pretty much just smear that wherever the light will hit opacity down ANOTHER CLIPPED LAYER ON OVERLAY make your colour white thin pen size just go over where the light will hit the most optional blur the edge not facing the light hey presto . ALSO YES I WANNA SEE IT |

Omg campesinos, my dude, I have the utmost respect for your layer work and everything you put into it. I could never, in fact, I'd probably get lost after three layers. (/absolutely freaking genuine) |

dude i knew a guy working on something that had over 400 layers i am not kidding . also i mean i use layers the simple way, do what i need to do on it and then merge it down. i love merging layers. |
