This is just a place for me to write and stuff for my novel I'm making. This will help me stay organized when creating characters, so feel free to read and ask any questions along the way. This is merely me writing, but if you all like it, like, a lot then I could perhaps put out a poll if I should make it a roleplay...
anyway. enjoy.

So the lore of the Tribes is pretty basic. A wee bit boring, so I will roll my eyes and groan with you.

Tribe of Oak

Known for: Wisdom, tradition, and diplomacy
Territory: Dense forests with towering oak trees and winding root paths

The Tribe of Oak is the oldest of the known tribes, often called the "Rooted Ones" for their deep connection to ancient traditions and the forest. They believe the Great Oak—an immense, hollow tree in their territory—is sacred and holds the spirits of their ancestors. Oak cats value storytelling, balance, and respect for the past. Elders carry immense weight in decision-making, and kits are told from birth that "an oak stands because it remembers every storm." They are often mediators in disputes between tribes.

Tribe of Earth

Known for: Resilience, craftsmanship, and secrecy
Territory: A sprawling network of underground tunnels beneath rocky plains and sparse woods and islands

The Tribe of Earth vanished from the surface long ago, after the Tribes faced a terrifying fire. They chose instead to build their world below for the safety of their kits and Tribemates. Legends say they were once in a horrible dispute with the Tribe of Oak and had murdered half their Tribe, so they went into hiding. Over generations, they became master diggers and tunnelers, creating complex labyrinths that outsiders rarely survive. Their paws are calloused, their eyes sharp in the dim, and their cultural values are survival, loyalty, and innovation. Some say they can collapse a battlefield with a single signal if they know the terrain well enough.

Tribe of Lake

Known for: Grace, adaptability, and deep emotions
Territory: Sprawling islands surrounded by a lake, covered in reeds, wetlands, and hidden coves

Peaceful yet elusive, the Tribe of Lake thrives where water touches every part of life. They believe the Moon herself gave them dominion over still waters, and their ceremonies are held by moonlight on floating lily platforms. Lake cats are excellent swimmers, and their language includes subtle tail-flicks and ripples across water to convey silent messages. Their history is filled with tales of love, loss, and the power of tides—stories that teach that change is not to be feared, but ridden like a current.

Tribe of Pointed Stones (Unknown/To Be Found)

Known for: ???
Territory: Unknown, rumoured to be harsh and treacherous cliffs or desolate highlands

Whispers of the Tribe of Pointed Stones echo through the dreams of the oldest cats. Said to dwell beyond the known world, their name lives in prophecy, not memory. Some elders claim they once ruled before the Oak Tribe rose (Tribe of Oak is the first Tribe). Others say they vanished into the mountains, taking powerful secrets with them. Stoneshaped markings occasionally appear on cliff faces or in strange formations, believed to be signs that the Tribe of Pointed Stones is watching—or waiting. They are the sharp mystery in every tale, the silence after a howl.
