Hello hello! It's been ages since I've actively sought out art on here, so I think it's about damn time I do it again! I've got a new guy, whom I love with all of my being, annnd I think he deserves to get more art. I've gotta prove to him that he's loved by spoiling him with art <3
Meet Maddox. He's a Hemicyon, also known as the "dog-bear", an extinct genus of hemicyonine bear. Maddox has a metal/cybernetic left arm and scars primarily from injuries he got early on in his career as a mind-controlled assassin. The rest of his scars, the ones on his back and the back of his neck, were given to him from the organization he used to work for.
- Looks like he's brooding 24/7.
- Has a deadpan/monotoned voice (he's working on trying to sound 'normal' and not 'robotic')
- Is genuinely sweet but struggles to express himself adequately.
- Gets frustrated with himself easily (wants to break through the programming he went through, thinks he has no progress even when he has made noticeable achievements.)
- Has absolutely no clue how to react to compliments, kindness, or physical affection. He easily gets flustered and doesn't know how to handle that, as such typically deflects and tries to say he's fine/plays it off.
- Looks like he'll bite ya but he's all bark. Yes, he's a classic "tough on the outside/soft on the inside" kind of guy. Sue me <3
I still have to write up an actual personality for him, but I think I covered the important bits above.
I will pay for art with apples. Fresh, yummy, and ripe apples. I would pay with mush but I only have like 500 right now (blame wolf party for robbing me). I currently have 90+ apples. Sooo, if you wanna make some appas and you're game to draw my lad, lemme know! Please include what kind of art you're offering (headshot, bust, half body, full body, etc.) and how much you charge. I prefer you tell me your prices over being told to make an offer, so I will not respond to anyone who tells me to price their art/make an offer.
