I forgot to add that they howl at the end of speeches and a moment of silence. As they howl as a goodbye and to send the wolf's spirit to the heavens of their ancestors. I think it's beautiful and sad. |

I had another idea regarding howling. Sorry if someone already suggested this. What if every full moon the pack held a "group howl" or "the great howl"? It would be a moment for everyone in the pack to howl together and sort of unite despite their fights and such. |
