Cal would be super hesitant to take the money and hotel and would probably try convincing Aries that it is okay and that he does not need all of this but would still be super thankful. also not Cal asking Aries to come with him just until Cal finishes inspecting the room so Matt cannot break in-

And the guy who almost never uses blankets because of the same reason. And the guy who has multiple locks on everything(his bedroom door, bedroom window, bedroom closet door, the few drawers in his room- everything) He isn't going to question much of anything. Honestly, if anything, he'd ask questions to make sure Cal remembers to check/inspect certain areas.
