I never delete mine either but I always forget them till I come across their sheet

Lol, I never delete mine, but I get frustrated when looking at old ones because the actual sheets are so bad

Then, I contemplate updating them and immediately decide against it because making a new character is much more fun

Thus, the cycle continues XD

Hmmm-

Okay, I realized how I remember mine. Multiple reasons.

1) I make a playlist for all of my characters where the title is literally just their initials. Aries has GAF. If the themesongs change due to a new RP, I make a GAF (RP initials here)

2) I keep the nekas I make and I title them and keep them in photo albums with the initials of the RP

3) I usually play multiple characters and I usually have certain groups of characters that are interconnected, Blair and Amel, for example since Amel kills Blair's family and whatnot, so certain characters automatically get linked to other characters in my head so that if I think of, say, Jass, then I also think of Gen'ya or Bernard. Or Ami. Or Kapono.

4) Similar to the one above, if I think of a RP, I'll think of who my characters had been in that RP.

I have playlists for most of my newer characters (starting from AMoC 1x1, I think), but only a few of my older characters have playlists (aka, my favorite old characters that I play more frequently). I do keep Nekas, but that's also only for much newer characters (the start of T8P, I believe). I do also have multiple characters interconnected though (Karma & Kostas. Violet, Kage, Agnar, & Skylar. Akira, Kumi, Leo, & Everett. And a few others. Though, Kage, Violet, Agnar, and Skylar's timelines are altered frequently slightly based on different scenarios. Originally Sky wasn't a part of the same group as the others and he and Kage had a separate timeline altogether, though I've woven them together over time)

Otherwise, though, I don't have a real system, just several, scattered systems, haha

I just- I just have a single google doc- it has millions of words and so much glitching-

My system isn't perfect. I still have characters I haven't used in like, a year or two or three that probably need revamping. It's also just based on what characters have most of my focus at the moment. Aries, Revan, Garvin, Gorōta, Adbrei, and Irfam are just some that get my focus back a lot.

You give me way too much credit. I literally only have those playlists because I like music and will literally just listen to their playlists for fun. And the photo albums are a more recent addition to my system, I'm still figuring that one out. And then the other two are just memory based, and it is not perfect, haha

If only one character in the RP? Character (RP initial here)

If multiple? Either-

Characters (RP initial here) or Character Pt ~insert number here~ (RP initial here)

Ehhh, it's not that smart, I'm just a weird person that decides I have to remake a character sheet every single time. Even if I'm literally just going to change nothing about the character. Even if everything stays the same, I make a new doc.
