For Ivan: yes, I think they could definitely be friends! He might put aside the Royal Guard to become Shenanigans Accomplice every once in a while, or at least when Valentine was a kid.
- Aaand Latayel: oof I should've thought of crimes earlier. She is kind of a stereotypical dragon, even out of her dragon form, so maybe she was hoarding shiny things (theft and scamming)? She's also murdered at least once in the name of revenge

I ask because depending on her 'severity of crimes', Aloysius might know her, and grant her immunity should she agree to go on the trip!

Ivan would probably see her often, especially if he's friends with her brother. Probably guards her every once in a while, too

Alright! Do you think for Valentine and Ivan, maybe as kids they were super close but as they grew up, maybe Ivan got a little more serious? Valentine isn't a 'goofball', but he doesn't take his position/power super seriously either. Maybe when they grew up they became distant?

Valentine and Ophelia would definitely know each other. They could be possible siblings if she's Aloysius' Daughter, or cousins. Or just good friends depending on her bloodline

Ophelia could definitely be Valentine's cousin or sister. They're pretty different from one another but Ophelia would probably have a secret soft spot for him. Either way works for me! |

Yeah, that makes sense. Think they'd also have a friendship of sorts or not? They're both stubborn so maybe whenever he guards her, they end up arguing about something? Not exactly arguing but playful bickering. |

ScaredyKat-- I could see that happening. Ivan's also considerably older by human standards, so he could've gotten (or given himself) the "act your age" talk. Or it just became more of a serious duty to keep Valentine safe after his older brother's murder. As a guard, Ivan might've felt partially responsible for that . LazyPanda-- Oh yes. Bickering everywhere. Snarky comebacks galore. |
