I watched a snippet of the news for the first time in forever, and apparently Donald Trump tweeted his support for Australia .-. |

Yeah, two firies died the other day. It was really depressing, even though I didn't know them. I've briefly heard about someone in Iraq (?) dying and Donald Trump having everything to do with it, is that right? I don't keep up with the news much. WWIII may actually be more than a joke this time ._. Anyway, this is not a very nice topic. Sooooooo... yeah :P |

Em, yes. I don't really want to delve into the whole political thing, but, briefly: (world events 101 with Starry) The president ordered a drone strike against an Iran general without congressional approval (nor did intelligence know about this). However, the Iran general was in Iraq, and once we killed him, Iraq grew furious and unanimously voted to force all US troops outta Iraq because we had used it as a striking base against another country. Em. That's an issue, because terrorist groups would expand once we leave Iraq. And then Iran started missle testing again. And our allies pretty much hate us, and I don't blame them. So, because of alliances, world war three is an option. Plus, this is all in the middle of the impeachment trial for our president. yea so there it is world events with starry my English teacher scared the heck out of our class, because we talked politics for an entire period, and, apparently, life isn't going great down in the Middle East |
