I am so interested, considering he's such a young lad. I feel like he's more recently punished - also, most Unmentionables are kept in that position for 1-2 Years (depending on the nature of the crime ) and they are given a chance to show their repentance and may be welcomed back as a Ranger, but it would definitely be hard for them to achieve higher ranks in the future. I definitely think Aouregan smells foul play but she's just doing what's best for now - but when he's found innocent, whoever decided to lie/set up this boy would be very interesting.

Yep, I was thinking this was a more recent thing. Probably a late-midpoint between when Anja was demoted and the fire. Poor Golden Summit pack cannot catch a break- I'm going to fully flesh out/neaten the whole backstory to the crime bit too. Perhaps Aouregan was pressured by some of the pack for a quick/harsh punishment. (Distraught close relatives?)

I now can't get the image of all the wolves lined up for battle. The pack looks so confident at the sight of the wanderers. Next thing ya know, Solaris walks into the line up and the pack is like, "Oh shit! A goliath!" |
