You can try what my therapist has me do when my anxiety gets super bad it's called the 5 senses something or other lol (Sorry I don't remember exact name but it does work) Start with sight Name 5 things you can see then go to smell name 5 things you can smell then hear name 5 things you can hear taste name 5 things you can taste then lastly feel I usually start at the top of my head for instance I feel the tug of my hair because of the ponytail, the feel of the glue on my dentures in my mouth the weight of my necklace against my chest, so on so forth |
