Aye, well, he's right next to a staff only toom which probably has a lock and key to it so that might be good. No one's behind the counter, either, so hiding under it would probably be fine -- I don't think the zombies have more than basic problem-solving skills, so if you aren't visible after an initial scan, you'll probably be fine. He could also run past and try to escape the airport or go to the restrooms where everyone else is if he didn't want to be stuck in the gift shops, where there's a ton of shit in the way and only one exit. If I were to suggest anything, though, I'd say under the counter initially and then running past would be the best way to get into an interaction with someone else.
