We are thinking of making changes to Talents to make them more accessable and give inheritance a buff. This will help make wolves with high talents more valuable. Basically the changes we want to make are: -Increase Talent inheritance rates. -Decrease the costs (massively) of Talents in the Apple shop -Add a cap to how many Talents you can add to your wolf. Probably around a couple hundred but I haven't done the math yet. How does this sound? Poll Question: How do the Talent changes sound to you?Total Votes: 181

would the talent cap consider pre existing talents? so lets say the cap is 500. would a wolf that was born with 350 talents max out at 500 talents or would you be able to add 500 talents onto the inherited 350 for a total of 850? i love the idea of them being more afforable to add talents as i have many high talents with boosts i would love to increase

In your example 500 is the max a wolf could have (unless inherited more). So you would only be able to add up to 500.

Not a fan of the talent cap, since we do have to pay apples for talents.

Yes!! I've never bred a real high talent wolf, so the inheritance rate increasing would be amazing!! Also talents are SO expensive, so this idea is also great!!

I don't think I understand what the current cap even is, so I'm not sure how to respond yet. How do talents currently function? I like the idea of the inheritance being buffed though-- it is MISERABLY difficult to breed for talents. All my higher talent wolves spat out puppies with way less than even half of either their parent's talents.

I like the idea of dropping talent costs, but not so much about the cap. It does depend on what it ends up being. I think it would be good to get them a little more inheritance. I don't care much about talents, so it won't affect me much anyway.

I like the idea of added inheritance! Would a talent cap mean you can't add more than a specific amount, or a wolf can't have more than a specific amount? I'm a bit concerned that if it's easier to get wolves with more talents, or talents are less expensive, they'll lose their value. I just started playing again after a few years and I've noticed a dramatic decrease in value for wolves that would have been top tier a few years ago.

Love the idea of talents being more inheritable and cheaper talent cost. Though not sure about the talent cap, but I don't know a whole lot about how that works as of current. I just assumed the talent cap was just at however much it took to max out the stats for each atribute. I think depending on how high/low that cap is as well as the new cost of the talents would probably influence my opinion. Would the cap also effect the amount of talents a wolf can naturally be born with or just how many custom talents are added to an individual wolf? If the custom talents are capped at 500, would wolves still be capable of being born with over 500 talents?
