Idoya: Spanish name derived from the Basque place name Idoia, meaning "pond."

or

Anvindr : Old Norse name composed of the elements an "against" and vindr "wind," hence "against the wind."

Indoya fits because he is part duck, And ducks like ponds and are found in ponds.. the character is either going to love to swim and most things related to water in general OR be scared of water and unable to swim(if the latter is decided on the name still fits in my opinion due to actual ducks loving water and being found in ponds)

And

Anvindr fits because ducks generally fly with the wind but they're wings don't work due to things that happened in his past and he's also deathly petrified of heights and any type of flying(including the thought of it) anyway so he's technically 'against the wind'

so, yeah.. what is your guy's opinion on these names for the character.. at this time I am leaning slightly more towards Anvindr.. but I still really like Indoya too..
