But when I'm using the trading post, I'm looking for something specific like talents, Gen, vitals, etc. so I need to use the Detailed Search

No, I do not use this. I would probably use it more if I knew the exact requirements for each section. I search for G1 hero males often, so I'd still use the detailed search more.
