Okay, so the other day I went to a music festival with the guy I really, really like. He picked me up from my place at four and dropped me off at like ten thirty. We had a great time. He bought me dinner, and it really felt like a date. He is a really good friend, but everyone thinks he has a crush on me as well, but I don't think so. Anyways, I texted him later and asked what we had decided to call our "Outing" because my family was bugging me a bunch and I didn't know what he was calling it. He told me that it was "Just a hangout between two friends" I mean, that's fine. Like, he doesn't have to say that it was a date, but it felt so, well, romantic.

Fox, I know the feeling, but I also wouldn't let others pressure you into feelings a certain way towards this guy. I mean, yes you "really, really like" him and all, but don't force anything on him or yourself. Let things play out naturally and go from there.

Ya, I wouldn't try to pressure him into anything. He likes to take things slow, and I'm hoping that's what this is. But if not, I am prepared to step back and just be a friend from the sidelines. I don't even know if I am ready for a relationship, and my anxiety skyrockets just thinking about it. He and I have actually had discussions about dating, not each other, but others. I said that I thought I would make a horrid girlfriend, and he told me that all I needed to do was be myself. So I will just see how this plays out and keep him as a good friend.

I agree with Steele. Don't try to force or let anyone force these feelings otherwise you and your friend could end up hurt. Let things play out naturally and see how things go.

Fox, Stepping to the side is never as easy as you think, but I'd still continue to be his friend and see where things go ^^

Always <3 He and I are actually part of a group of friends that have sworn to tell each other everything... But I haven't, and I know that the others hold things back as well. I find it amusing though because the other three in the group were the ones that said that this needed to be a thing, but I'm pretty much the only one who tells the others anything. Maia hasn't talked to me for weeks and another of the boys, whom I shall call Timothy, doesn't really talk to me either. So me and "Andrew" are the only ones who talk to each other daily.
