this fuckign all of this when the person who the plot says is LITERALLY the reason for the problem ends up being a "nice sweet person uwu" because their player is too weak to have fun with an evil character

I have so many complaints about dystopian-type RPs - popular YA novels have left a bad taste in my mouth and I don't expect improv writing on a wolf game to be any better - unrealistic backstory, a lot of dystopian RPs have it where revolution happens in a week, the big meanies get in power for no discernable reason, and suddenly all superpowered people with purple eyes have to go to concentration camps. Something like that - too many players wanting to make that character on the authoritarian government side that are secretly sympathizing with the rebellion

I don't understand why people don't want to make actually evil characters. People can go on and on about their favorite villains, how much they like them and so on. Wanna at least try to make something like that for yourself? |

i have more evil characters than i do good. it's just easier for me. Juniper, a manipulative bastard who takes control of emotions but isn't above getting physical when really pissed off Phoenix, a rich racist human... heron... thing. Sapphire, an old dragon OC who pitied herself so much she started getting really bitchy with everyone - disclaimer; i don't support this stuff. but characters like this are better for drama in RPs and really help with fIght scenes because they give you a punching dummy |

i had an oc on here a while ago named jaafan obi who was a supervillian while also being empathetic and a big teddy bear. while not fitting the whole evil trope, he was one of my favorite characters i've ever used that still believed in "evil" beliefs :) i now have aasir njuki in place of him because i started using him offsite |

I knew I should take a break from romance, when my OCs began getting problematic and romance was not an option, it just wouldn't work. :') I think I'll add a roles list in my Character Goals Blog. Because I want more jerky and villain OCs. |
