Saw a couple people ask this in chat, and I have no idea so I thought I'd ask here. xD

When you come across the undead wolf in explore that you must beat in a howling contest, is there a certain stat that could help determine whether you beat him or not? I originally thought it was your wolf's howling rating, but I've had poor howlers beat him so I don't think that's it.

I’m pretty sure it’s just randomised, I’ve had all of my wolves ‘beat’ him, and none of them are specifically good at howling.

Its random, but if you have a good howler you will have a better chance. ;)
