hey! you go to that friends account, next to their profile info it says friends. click on it, then scroll down and it says something like add friend

Go to the pack, click the friends link on the right. Once you scroll down you'll see a check box and add friend, that'll send a request

Just a note that some packs will have friend requests disabled so you won't find a box for add friend at the bottom of their list :3
