Standing at 7'5, he is among the tallest of his kind, and his physique is a hardy, muscular one. While he is still considered lean, his frame is one made for strength and endurance rather than speed and nimbleness. He is quite agile, but he lacks flexibility and is much better at quick movements with a weapon than he is doing parkour. Ivan is all muscle and sinew, and his chiseled features accentuate as much, giving him a carved-from-stone appearance. This man has an assortment of scars, but his most notable -- by far -- is the massive chunk missing from the middle of his left ear. It is now held together by a piercing that acts as a brace, and he never takes it out; when/if he does, the further end flops over, and he thinks it looks ridiculous. He has half a mind to just cut the rest off, sometimes. His round, stormy gray eyes hold a hint of green, contrasting slightly with the regular whites and the blood vessels therein. They are places beneath straight, furrowed brows and rimmed with creases. His skin is a warm, golden-bronze whose shadows and highlights change dramatically depending on the lighting. It is interrupted by the pinker, slightly paler colors of old scars. His hair is a deep, deep red-brown -- almost black -- and turns to a slightly lighter maroon or blood color in the sunlight. Ivan keeps the sides and back of his head closely shaved or otherwise short, and the top hair is pulled back into a short ponytail. It would only reach his jaw if let down, but he prefers to keep it up. Two longer, braided strands hang down from either temple. He has a strong, confident voice that is fairly low and and a silky bass. He walks with purposeful, firm strides, and generally appears sure of himself. Some may see it as arrogance, but he does not intend it to be so. His presence is cold and foreboding despite his warmer coloration, giving him an air of unpredictability. When he fidgets, Ivan will twist one braid between his pointer finger and thumb, or he'll work his jaw (the stronger jawline may very well have originated from this habit). Personality Charismatic || Leader || Ambitious || Strategic || Smart || Stoic || Decisive || Loyal || Observant || Stubborn He has a convincing way with words, able to use them in a way that makes him an excellent public speaker. Ivan knows how -- and when -- to stir an audience and push them in any direction with his eloquence, and he uses this to further his own devices at times. He is quite charismatic and charming. However, it never quite seems to reach his eyes; he has never been one for making close friends, and while he is friendly with most in the clan, there is no one that he will confide in. Not even his own family. Ivan keeps his personal worries and insecurities to himself, outwardly displaying a poised, calm front. And, generally, it is not a false face. He is an honest man, though he is not above telling white lies here and there. He is good at maintaining the peace, whether that be through physical or verbal means. He is a leader, as he has been brought up to be, and strives for perfection. Too much is on the line for him to fall short in any way. Ivan is ambitious and strategic, concerned with keeping the students thriving and at the top of the food chain. They may have lost the powers of the school, but that does not mean they are weak or ripe for destruction. He is a stubborn creature, and his stoicism is borderline self-destructive at times. He has a habit of ignoring his injuries of any kind and will overexert himself at times, but he refuses help until he can't hide his situation. Ivan is also very observant of others, making him a bit of a hypocrite when insisting others rest or otherwise take care of themselves at the same point that he would not. Despite being a cold, mule-headed grump, Ivan is an altruistic and loyal individual. Even if he doesn't particularly like someone in the clan, he will fight for them. His competitive and ambitious nature often gets in the way of friendships and familial relations, but he still cares for them even if he sucks at showing it. He is also not afraid of doing what must be done. Hunting, battle, or otherwise (justly) ending a life has never upset him, nor is it ever likely to. He respects life, but death is a path that is central to mortality, and he doesn't mind that fact. This man sticks to his morals, though, and scorns murder or subterfuge. He's a good lie detector, too, and tries to prove himself trustworthy to others, as his own lies -- however small they may be -- irritate him the most. Abilities Longevity: This is not so much an ability as it is a characteristic of his species. Living for hundreds of years, his kind ages more slowly than most, placing him at the human equivalent of his late twenties or early thirties. If he is not killed beforehand reaching the end of his life, he will eventually return to the earth, taking on a "second life" as a tree or other natural object. Metal Manipulation: Ivan can cause metallic elements and substances to bend to his will, creating or fixing weapons or tools quickly and efficiently. The metal must be above ground and already extracted from the rock around it, though, so he usually has a few spare pieces on hand. Seer -- By touching a living plant or animal, he can connect himself to it and extract memories and information. It's harmless, but it is an easy source of intel and also gives him an affinity for wildlife. This ability also allows him to take away some of the emotion or feeling associated with a memory, which can be used to ease pain, among other things. She has a lean, sinewy body that resembles the shape of a greyhound's; long front limbs also function as her wings, though she is capable of using them to run, grab, and reach. She has a full hand at the end of each with razor sharp claws. Her hind legs are stereotypical ones with powerful haunches and raptor-like feet. She has one raised toe and claw on each of them. Her whiplike tail has a thick, downy tuft of fur along the end, like a lion's, that can catch fire but will not burn or singe. Her scales are tight and smooth, almost snakelike but with more definition. Her base color is a golden one, and she has a red-orange shimmer akin to watching dancing flames. Along Cyra's dorsal line, her scales are more red, and her underside is lighter. A pair of thick, white, slightly curved horns shoot out of her skull in a streamlined fashion. Small, sharp, bony protrusions decorate the middle ridge of her face and, once they hit her neck, transition into a sort of exoskeleton of mirrored vertebrae. Hooked, riblike braces curve down from them, providing some extra protection to her neck and raising the fear factor. Her head is long and refined with a slight point at the tip of her upper lip beneath her nostrils. Her upper canines protrude slightly, and her mouth is turned into a faint, wicked smile. Cyra'analeth's eyes lack pupils. Rather, they are a glowing white void. Staring into them is peering into the soul of the burning furnace that will incinerate you. Because of their nature, it's basically impossible for anyone to gauge her emotions by looking at her eyes, and her tone of voice or body language must be used as a guide instead. Her voice is low and sultry, with a snakelike hiss underlying it. Her words are almost crooning, unsettling and promising poison instead of sweetness. Her movements are strong and predatory as well; she is not a dragon to be messed with. The discomfort she brings strangers in close proximity is enhanced by the heat and glow she normally radiates. She is not a social creature; being around others is draining, and it doesn't take much to get on her nerves. While Cyra'analeth could wait centuries to win a battle or lie in wait for an enemy, this uncanny patience does not extend to other dragons or people. She is not tactful in her words and does not spare anyone's feelings; her philosophy is to say it like it is and not waste time. She is also extremely stubborn and difficult to persuade. This female remains fairly neutral in many things, but when she is set in one direction, that is the direction and it will not be deviated from. She leaves room open for input in her strategies, though, as she would rather be correct the first time than allow her pride to be the downfall of her comrades. She has a scheme for everything; Cyra is always plotting about even the littlest things. Her attention to detail and astute observations make her excellent at being able to take everything into consideration, and she's quite good at reading the room. She does not easily lose her head. Even when she is furious, this dragon remains composed, though she makes her feelings very clear. There are no rage-storms or tantrums. She likes to watch her enemies suffer, and she can't exactly do that if she blows them off the face of the earth too soon. This dragon is bloodthirsty and somewhat of a warmonger, and she certainly has some sadistic tendencies. Cyra is one to go all out with her vengeance and retaliation as well, ensuring that whoever crossed her, or someone she is acting on behalf of, will be unable to do so ever again. Cyra is territorial with any mate, family, and others she has "adopted" as her family. She can be overprotective and is loyal to a fault to those whom she deems worthy. While most creatures won't even get her attention, those who gain her love and trust will get her world. She will move heaven and earth for them, and no stupid rule is going to stand in her way. Her morals may be a bit gray, but family is her priority and will always remain such. Abilities She has some semblance of ability outside of her dragon form, but not much. Solar Flare: She can pull the light and heat from warm objects (mainly the sun or an already-existing flame) towards her and let it build, releasing it in a flaming shock wave. The longer she holds it, the greater the blast radius. These flares must be used with caution, as she gives up her own body heat to use the ability and does not do when hypothermic. Refraction: She can bend heatwaves around flaming or smoldering objects near her to create a mirror or mirage, effectively hiding whatever she's manipulated. She has to do it to individual objects, but once completed, it takes very little power to keep up as long as the sun is out and the fire is burning. Once it gets dark, and the colder it gets, it becomes unsustainable. To Be Kept To Herself Appearance: When it comes to appearances, it's quite simple to say that this woman is a head turner by most standards of beauty ; most would find it offensive or even foolish to not think she is a beautiful woman, even if one doesn't care for the female gender romantically, they still can appreciate her beauty. When this woman walks, she walks with soft and confident steps - as if she is gliding on air or walking down a catwalk, her steps are graceful and she never has clunky steps. Their is a slight sway to her hips, when she moves- something sultry and, yet also dainty as well - not to mention when she dances, it seems that the rhythm of music is just in her soul because of how fluidly her body moves to the music. This woman stands at a regal, 5 feet 4 inches, just reaching average height for a woman - but she still is quite on the smaller side, though it wouldn't do you good to tell her that unless you want go face her fury as she will show you what she can do with that short stature of hers. Most would agree that she's been blessed with an appealing body ; having soft and supple curves around her hips and legs as if an artisan has taken time to craft them, not to mention what most older women would define or refer to them as being "childbearing hips" - with the slight dips in them, which she finds unattractive, but they actually suit her rather nicely. It can be said she is a rather . . . busty woman, having a rather generous, ahem, bosom - while they aren't extremely large like some women, she does have a rather noticeable pair that would gain her some attention and make her shopping life harder. Also, most would say that she can ne described as a woman who is "thick" ; she has rather muscular and healthy thighs, as most men and some women would say - capable of crushing them, and one would definitely do well to notice the toned calf muscles as well. And, she does have some ass, in the words of a icon - "If you don't jump to put jeans on, baby, you don't feel my pain. " so she has to be rather careful about how she dresses because it can lead to a various amount of emotions from people, but it's safe to say - if she wore a little red dress that fitted her body, there definitely would need to be some cleaning for all the drool and nosebleeds. When it comes to her body, this female has what can be described as a more of a mixture between an hourglass and mango type figure. She has a slight broadness to her shoulders, but not too much so that it could be considered masculine and they also have a slight muscle to them. While she may be small, and have a rather healthy (yet, on the smaller size ) weight at 103 lbs - she isn't completely frail, their is some strength to her and one can see it in her toned legs and arms. She makes sure to keep her body in good shape ; always eating healthy when she can, going for morning runs and exercising, or finding more active hobbies she can do outdoors - she does indulge in treats now and then, however, she keeps it to a minimum because she doesn't want to ruin her "girlish" figure. It can be said that she enjoys swimming and climbing most out of her hobbies, she's a rather powerful swimmer and a nimble climber. She's also rather swift on her feet, always moving rather quickly and with purpose wherever she goes - her head held high and always with the most lady-like smile she could muster, she'll never be seen lacking in refinement if she could help it, after all - it's been drilled into her. She has rather impeccable posture, from years of finishing school, and careful training due to her involvement in high society ; it also helps that this young woman did ballet and gymnastics in her younger years, adding a more naturalness to her grace and movement. This young woman also happens to have a rather slender waist line ; being perfect for grabbing her or holding when she's dancing. It also helps to accentuate the curves of her body. This female has what can be described as a heart-shaped face ; with high cheekbones, that give her a rather regal air about her and yet her cheeks are round and plump. Her cheeks turning a cute shade of coral or even a darker red when she's embarrassed by something. Adding a softer, and more jovial appearance to her - it can be a hindrance as most people think she's younger than she is what she is. She also has an adornment of them along her neck in an almost trailing like manor that leads down her back in a sporadic formation like freckles, almost. And then she has some in other places that a proper lady wouldn't mention. As for her skin, it is of a sun-kissed hue, with a slightly darkened tan - her skin almost can be described as beautifully caramelized with a rich and bronze and golden undertone, the sun seeming to favor it as it gives off a rather glossy sheen making it even more attractive under camera light. She has rather small and dainty hands, yet her fingers are long and slender - paired with naturally long nails that almost always are neatly clipped and polished and if not, then they have a clear coating on them. She has a beauty mark on her left pinkie finger, it's a way to identify her if one had to do so. Now, her most defining feature are her eyes. Most would have to pause for a moment to take in her eyes for a moment ; that's because they're a rather interesting hue of color - they're a lovely shade of violet. It can be speculated that she received this from farther down the line due to some recessive albinism, and it seems she has received it. Now, when it comes to the specific colorations her eyes ; violet is mostly known as a dark blue hue with black tones and that can be clearly seen within her eyes. With those colors mixed, one can see her pale violet eyes, there's something charming about them - yet, their hue, a convergence of majestic violets and velvety purples, defies comprehension. Like the petals of rare nocturnal blooms, they unfold in delicate gradations, unfurling an otherworldly elegance that is both bewitching and unsettling. It is as if the very essence of dreams and nightmares has been distilled into this singular gaze. Like twilight's shadows cast upon a moonlit garden, these eyes beckon with a hypnotic magnetism that transcends the ordinary. They truly are enchanting. They are encased by bi-colored lashes, being a dark inky black intermixed pale blonde lashes - her lashes being long and naturally curled. This peculiarly spreads to her hair as well, her natural hair being a stark inky black coloration - yet, their is a stark whitish-blonde streak of hair at the front of her hair that extends to the full length of her hair, and then their is a patch that just affects the ends of her hair. Sometimes she has to dye her hair to make it natural or she just rocks her peculiar hair. Her hair is rather thick, and can be a bit much to manage - it's rather strong and healthy as well, being able to take being manhandled and harsh treatments. It is wavy in texture and can curl up and shrink when wet and get frizzy when it's too warm out. Overall, her hair is something she's proud of and that she wants to keep healthy and well maintained. Personality: When meeting this young woman, the first thing you observe about her is the regal presence that she carries herself with - the way she walks with poise and grace, the practiced smiles, and the carefully crafted words she speaks. You'll see that her head is never bowed down in cowardice and her strides are long and confident, and her presence being commanding. She's the type you would notice amongst a crowd - not just because of her beauty, nor her fine attire, but one is attracted by the welcoming and calming aura she exhibits. One will find her rather controlled with her emotions and actions ; she always thinks before she speaks - never wanting to come across as foolish to someone, and she's very careful with her words as she knows they have power. And she knows how to use her words to her advantage, along with other emotions and motions. A simple sigh escaping her, or the quirk of an eyebrow, and better yet a simple giggle is an arsenal in her weapons against the mind. She spends most of her time pouring over books in various subjects, why? A thirst for knowledge, because knowledge is power - and she won't get by in life without being smart. Her mother (with a certain pride ) would say that she's rather cunning and manipulative; knowing how to play with the minds of others - using different tactics to get things to fall in her favor ; play the victim, pin the blame on someone else, or take the blame herself . But either way, it's easy to think you've outdone her, but you better believe - she's pulling the strings the way that she wants them to be. To her credit, she has created a beautiful facade for others to see. To most she appears as an enigma- one can never truly guess her allegiance unless she's told you her stance and even then, is she really telling you the truth? In honesty, one could call her treacherous - while she does have some sense of loyalty, she's not blindly loyal. She's only loyal to those that help her serve a purpose - and if someone can offer something better, then she's not against being the "bad guy" and being a traitor. Anything that can be used to her advantage - will be used to her advantage. No one can truly tell where her loyalty lies and ever will, she keeps her cards close to her heart. This young woman is quite indifferent when it comes to violence - for the most part she doesn't care who gets hurt due to her actions, however the moment someone she cares for is in danger - that's the moment the switch flips. She's protective of her "things" , people she calls her own, or those blood related to her - these are the ones who are even remotely under her 'umbrella' of protection. This young woman values family and will do anything to protect them - and that very much so means anything. If you're her blood kin and you betray her trust or do something to hurt her, then she'll definitely not like you - however, that doesn't mean that she still won't protect you. Even if you're a scum bag of the earth, she won't let anyone else harm you - the only exception is if you have done something very damaging to ruin such a relationship with her. She can be said to be a bit too protective over others, and it can be a bit smothering but it's just her way of showing that she cares. Gender: Male, cis Role: Outlaw Age: 22 winters Species: half elf, half kitsune Appearance (Or TH Link): the silly boy all drawings are by me! Physical appearance (humanoid): Daniel stands at 6'3" (1.9m), and has a leanly muscled figure. His pale skin is covered in scars, both old and new, and is often flushed or sunburnt. He has a V-shaped torso with curvy hips and a broad chest. His arms are slightly longer than normal, which allows for easier quadrupedal movement. His hair is a soft auburn with bolder orange highlights, and is straight but fluffy, reaching down to about the bottom of his shoulder blades when it's dry. He typically has it down, but if he's doing something important or just doesn't want it in his face, he will always take the time to braid it instead of tying it up in a ponytail or bun. He often has flowers woven into said braids, or just tucked behind his ears. His ears are those of a red fox, and he has the tail of a red fox, too, which reaches down to about his ankles when relaxed. Both are very fluffy. His body hair is closer to fur, and is thick and fluffy, like his tail. He perfers to be clean-shaven, but doesn't always have to opportunity to shave, so sometimes he will have light stubble. He has a broad, animalistic nose and defined cheekbones. His teeth are more similar to fox fangs, and his tongue is barbed, like a fox's. He has sharp claws on both his hands and feet; he paints the ones on his hands when he has the opportunity. He often has lots of scabs on his hands and forearms from picking at his skin. He typically has a nervous expression. His resting body temperature is around 101°F (38°C), so he feels almost feverish to the touch, though it's a dry heat, not a clammy one. He moves nearly silently. Physical appearance (fox): Daniel has the ability to change his form into that of a large fox. This form stands about 2'8" (about .81m) at the shoulder. His clothes and accessories do not transform with him, and he has to either find a place to put them for safekeeping or just leave them where they are before/when he transforms. Other than the height and a slightly thicker mane of fur running down his back, his fox form looks exactly like any other natural fox. He cannot speak in this form, but can still communicate through rudimentary gestures (e.g. nodding or shaking his head for yes or no, pointing with his paw to indicate a direction or subject of attention, etc.). The scars from his humanoid form translate over to his fox form, but are obscured under the fur. Clothing: Daniel typically wears clothes in darker, neutral shades, though he's not picky. He doesn't like layering, as his fur causes him to overheat easily when coupled with clothes, but sometimes he'll wear a vest or shawl over a tunic. He perfers loose tunics with a low collar and tight pants or slim jodphurs, but again, he's not picky. He'll wear most anything in any style, including feminine clothing. He often wears a leather spaulder and leather faulds, along with a bastard (hand-and-a-half) sword at his hip. He wears two belts, one for his sword and one that carries many pouches. There are a lot of things in these pouches- pretty rocks, dried herbs, animal bones, food, coin, etc. He's contstantly collecting things to put in the pouches. He wears knee-high flapped leather boots with small metal studs on the edges of the flaps, or, more typically, goes barefoot. He also often wears bits of jewlery and other acessories, most often things that won't make much noise like rings, necklaces, and leather or fabric bracelets. Personality: Daniel is a nervous man. He's always checking over his shoulder for enemies or danger, always in a constant state of near-panic. He twitches quite a bit, and often picks at the skin on his arms or hands. Despite that, in the face of actual danger or battle, he is quite collected, if not exactly calm. He is a seasoned fighter, both with man-made weapons and hand-to-hand, and is not at all afraid to fight dirty. He would prefer not to kill anybody if he doesn't have to, as he feels he has too much blood on his hands already. But then again, at this point, what's a little more? He likes cool, shaded places like forests more than anything wide-open and hot, since he overheats and sunburns easily. He is always, always hungry, and will eat absolutely anything, even old corpses. He has eaten other humanoids (not sure if it's cannibalism as other elves or kitsunes don't seem to be common here) out of necessity, and despises himself for it. Even so, if it came to that, he would do it again. He has a raging desire for life in its fullest, though his own anxiety often keeps him from that. He can be flirty at times, though it's usually unclear (even to himself) if he's doing it on purpose or not. He swings all ways! Nobody is safe from his inept attempts at seduction. He is very vain- he loves dressing up and admiring himself in anything shiny. It's probably the only time he even briefly stops twitching. He's typically able to put his vanity aside when something important comes up, though- he doesn't care if he goes out looking like he just got his ass kicked by a grizzly bear if the motive is good enough. He has an oral fixation, and typically has something in his mouth, most often one of the more solid items he keeps in his pouches like a smooth rock or bone. It helps keep him calm. He also bites/chews on his jewlery, fingers/nails, and lips. Generally, he's very reclusive, and doesn't like talking to people, though there are exceptions. Despite being an outlaw, he is a gentle soul, just trying to get by in a world that's stacked against him. Strengths: Physical prowess- Daniel is very strong, agile, and flexible. He can also move easily on all fours in his humanoid form; he typically goes on all fours to sneak around or run faster. Good with animals- He has a good relationship with most animals, and can understand them well. He can usually negotiate his way out of a dangerous encounter with a wild animal, and can ask more domestic animals to do favors for him. Of course, all of this is hampered by the intelligence and personality of the animal he's talking to. Alert to his surroundings- Daniel's always in panic mode, so he's constantly taking inventory of dangers and possible traps. Not much gets by him, as his senses are very keen. Pretty- Even if he is inept at flirting, Daniel can sometimes charm his way into places he's not supposed to be. Sure, that sometimes comes at a cost to his dignity or bodily health, but neither of those were great in the first place. Underestimation- Due to the fact that he looks so beat up, and also because of how prettily he likes to dress, with flowers in his hair and all, it's common for his physicial ability to be underestimated. He can often take people by surprise with his strength and skill. Weaknesses: Alert to his surroundings- Because he's in panic mode, Daniel gets overwhelmed easily by stimuli such as loud noises, lots of smells, and large amounts of people. Cities and crowds are his worst enemies, but he forces through it anyway. He gets bad headaches and sometimes panic attacks because of it. Heat sensitive- Because the fur on his body is typically enough for Daniel to withstand chillier temperatures, he overheats easily, which makes him feel sick and breaks his concentration. He also sunburns easily, due to his fair skin, and often wears a light shawl or veil covering his head and shoulders when he absolutely has to go out in the summer. Anxious- He is very socially anxious. He hates talking to people, and would much rather take care of his business without interacting with a single person. Unfortunately, that's not always the case, and when interacting, he typically fumbles over his words. He also worries a lot in general, about everything. Bodily degeneration- Not sure what else to call this as it encompasses a few things. Daniel's twitching sometimes causes him to be very clumsy, and he often drops things or accidentially hits things or people. He's very adept at slamming his hips on every doorknob and the corners of every table or counter, and has a lot of bruises from that. Also, because of how often he picks at his skin or bites himself, he's sometimes missing entire chunks of flesh. While, in general, he is in excellent shape, his dexterity is low and he's suseptible to infection from his wounds. Vision problems- Daniel is entirely red/green colorblind, so he sees the world only in shades of blue, yellow, and grey. He is also somewhat nearsighted. Hungry- He's just hungry all the time. Food is always on his mind, and can distract him sometimes. Special ability- Overuse of his illusion magic also gives him headaches. If the headaches get too bad, he becomes shaky on top of his twitching, and sick-feeling. Family(?): All dead. Some he knew, some he didn't, some died by his own hand. He regrets nothing. Friends(?): He lives alone. He's very bad at talking to people, but who knows? Maybe somebody will take pity on him. Rivals(?): As he views it? The entire world. Everything is out to get him, everybody wants him dead. Short background or any special details: Daniel used to live in the Kingdom, born to a pair of average citizens. His memories of his childhood are fuzzy, but he knows it was filled with pain. At some point, when he was a young teen, he killed his abusive father, and hunted by the city's guards, fled the kingdom. He's been wandering ever since, too afraid to settle down in one place for long. Finding a permanent home isn't a goal for him anyway. He just wants to survive. Extra: Due to his kitsune heritage, he has the ability to create small-scale illusions that alter the apperance of an object or person, or change how a specific target percieves the world. For example, he can make food look mouldy, a pebble look like a diamond, or wood to look like steel. He can also change parts of a person's features such as shape of facial features, hair length/texture/color, and body type. For changing how a target perceives the world, he can plunge them into darkness, change the color of the sky, make eyes appear on everything they look at, etc. He can only do this on one target at a time, and it takes far more concentration than changing the appearance of something. If his concentration is broken, the illusion immediately disappears. If he tries to hold any kind of illusion for longer than a few minutes, he gets an awful headache. He can fight through it if he wishes, but he typically doesn't. There usually isn't a physical component to his illusions; though he can create one, it gives him a pounding headache regardless of how long he's holding the illusion for or how complicated it is. His ability is most useful for sudden distractions, tricks, and somewhat fragile disguises. I think that's everything :'D |
