It will depend on what I'm needing at the time, but if it were now I'm really set on a border terrier. I'll probably start looking for breeders closer to when Bear's around 7-8, just so I can start training the puppy while Bear's (hopefully) still able to work until the puppy's able to start going out for its training in public.
I don't really want to be without a dog, even for a short time, so I probably won't wait until after Bear passes to buy a new puppy, because that could end up being quite a wait for getting a new dog. I'm also wanting to bring bear when I go to a breeder to choose a puppy so That way I hopefully will be able to bring one home she likes and will become good friends with.
XD although she and Charlie(my dog before Bear) eventually became good friends, at first he hated her, was extremely jealous and at first was almost a little scared of her because she was a crazy puppy. I'd rather avoid that happening again Bear is one jealous doggo xD. I got my cat when my dog was a year and a half (he is a black lab). At first my cat hated my dog, but now they are best friends. Border terriers are cute :)
Also, 1. Bear sometimes can get a little jealous at times, but Charlie was far worse with jealousy.
I'd think about getting a cat now, but I can't due to my dad wouldn't allow one in his house and also because Bear is deathly scared of cats(and I mean deathly afraid of them, not just disliking them. Last time she saw a cat in our yard she started screaming. I had to rush outside, nearly having a heart attack because I thought she somehow badly injured herself. Only to find her dashing back and forth, screaming. After I managed to grab her by the collar I found she was shaking horribly. Then I saw the neighbors cat on our fence.(what happened to cause her fear doesn't seem like it should of caused this much of a fear, but it obviously did)) Whoah. I know dogs who are terrified of cats. Cats are just being... cats. I don`t know what makes some dogs fear them so much. Even a few huge dogs fear them. What cat breed do you want to have? Maybe you want to adopt a stray?
1. I don't really have any specific breed of cat I'm wanting. Though I do like Siamese cats. I'd probably either get a very young kitten from the pound or a free to extremely cheap kitten from an unplanned litter. There's so many free kittens/cats around where I live because many unfixed cats are outdoor and indoor pets, unplanned breedings happen a lot, that's probably the route I'd go. So it'd very likely end up being a mixed breed.
Though when I do get the kitten it will be a spayed/neutered indoor cat. Edited at July 22, 2017 11:14 AM by Destinations End

I like every single cat in the world. Except for the breeds that don`t have hair. Eww.
1 (I don`t eve know why am I counting at this point xD)
