Appearance: A cheeky wolf with a constant somber expression. His coat is a shaggy mess of whites and grays, complete with matted fur and tangled hairs. It's a condition, really, and the tangles have been so bothersome he doesn't deal with them anymore. He is blind in one eye and almost deaf in both ears. He can hear, but it requires shouting at close range.
Personality:
You might think he's patient because of his disability, but actually, he gets snappy relatively quickly. He desperately wants others to understand him and to be able to understand others. Vennenum speaks in riddles, adding to the confusion.
He is extremely unforgiving, grudging on others who cause him pain, whether it's psychological or physiological. A bit of disrespect may stem from his words, along with his pessimistic attitude. But as much as he shows off his sarcasm and pessimism, he is willing to support his closest friends."
History:
Vennenum was born as a quiet but loving pup, with fully functional ears and eyes. His three siblings were larger than him and picked on him, but they all understood that it was purely love and friendship between them. As he got older his eyesight in his left eye was fading and he grew more sober in his daily life. He lost his love for romping about with his siblings and the other wolves in the pack, and preferred to sit alone and contemplate things. One day, he discovered a river, full of small fish, and thought it would be an aid to the pack to be able to provide food. However, he was hindered by his eye and instead of catching food, fell into the river. The water was dangerously cold, and though he survived, he lost his hearing, and one of his siblings drowned in the effort to save him. This caused him unbearable misery, along with pessimism and anger. The guilt over his brother's death made him hate himself, and others who tried to comfort him. He began to snap at other wolves who tried befriending him, and sarcastic and rude. As a result, he was mostly left alone. He is now wary of others who speak to him, and partly worried that he will hurt them in the long run, and worried that becoming too close to them will hurt him somehow as well.
